The Firm
Legacy Legal Services LLP™ is located in Windsor, Ontario and offers a diverse range of paralegal services to clients in the Southern Ontario area. The People
The people at Legacy Legal Services are a dedicated team of knowledgeable professionals that are experienced and ready to serve the best interest of each client. Each Legacy Legal Services team member is highly focused on delivering client satisfaction with integrity, with civility, and with adherence to the Paralegal Rules of Conduct.
Kristen Jarvis, Managing Partner
In 2016, Kristen obtained a paralegal diploma from St. Clair College, followed soon after with completion of the examination and process for the attaining of a paralegal license from the Law Society of Ontario.
For three years, Kristen worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant within the Kavanaugh, Milloy law firm at which Kristen received extensive exposure to many different aspects of the law including a primary focus on employment law issues.
In 2019, Kristen joined Ticket Defenders as a Client Services Manager and as a Paralegal providing traffic ticket defence services for client.
Subsequently, Kristen joined a paralegal firm as a partner and then moved to Legacy Legal Services as the Managing Partner and practicing as a paralegal with a primary focus upon employment law related matters as well as the defence of provincial offence charges involving a wide variety of violations including traffic tickets, commercial vehicle violations, snowmobile operation charges, among other issues.
Edmond Veliu
Edmond earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Windsor in 2016 majoring in Political Science, Law and Politics. Subsequently, Edmond obtained a paralegal studies diploma from triOS College in 2020 and a paralegal license from the Law Society of Ontario in 2021. In 2020, Edmond joined a paralegal firm in Windsor, Ontario as a partner focusing upon contract disputes within the Small Claims Court. In January 2022, Edmond joined Legacy Legal Services.
Edmond is a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist CITRMS®XV. This certification, in addition to holding licensed paralegal status, provides Edmond with the extra skills necessary to provide exceptional assistance and guidance for clients needing help in proactively mitigating identity theft concerns. In the event of a customer being a victim of identity theft, Edmond provides expert assistance in resolving and remediating the issue. Edmond is a trusted provider of legal and identity theft services to Assistance Services Group.
